Time and Date
When are you thinking of having your display? Halloween is quite close to firework ‘season’ so people will be expecting some noise. But if you’re planning to set fireworks off after 11pm then you may well attract noise complaints from your neighbours. If you would like to stay in their good books, take the time to knock on their door and explain your plans to them. They’re more likely to react reasonably to your display if you’ve given them prior warning that it’s happening.
Theme
If you’re planning a fireworks display to celebrate Halloween, then why not try to theme your display and pick some fireworks to match the occasion. fireworkcrazy.com offer a wide range of fantastic fireworks, like the Golden Lion Devils Wrath which is sure to give your guests a fright. Why not also try a Brothers Pyrotechnics X-Rated Rocket pack or an Absolute Fireworks Awesome Rocket set; either of which will produce a hair-raising display.
Budget
You have to give serious thought to how much you want to spend on your display. Whilst no one wants to buy too few fireworks and have nothing left to set off 10 minutes into their display, it’s also not a good idea to buy too many. As nice are fireworks are, people do tend to get bored after a certain amount of time and it’s best not to have fireworks left over. Ask for some advice from the company you’re buying your fireworks from so you know you’ll stay on budget whilst making sure you have enough for your display.
Space
If you’re looking to have a display in your garden, you need to make sure you have enough space to set off your fireworks. Is your garden big enough that people can stand at least 25 metres away from the fireworks whilst they’re being lit? Are they any overhanging trees? Could the fireworks land anywhere that would be potentially dangerous? If you encounter any issues like this, you shouldn’t hold your display until you’ve solved the problems.
Safety First
When it comes to fireworks, safety is the most important thing to consider. If there are going to be children at your display, keep an eye on them so that they are standing at a safe distance at all times, fireworks should only be lit by responsible adults, do not let children light them no matter how much they plead. Do you have a bucket of sand and a bucket of water ready to extinguish any fireworks if they catch fire in your garden? Have you been drinking alcohol? Then it’s probably not a good idea to start a fireworks display.
